The standard turnaround
28 to 35 days, signed-brief to delivered-goods. Most of that window is design rounds, sampling, and your sign-off. Actual press time on a 200-piece run is roughly four days. We commit to the window in writing. If we miss it, we credit shipping.
How shipping is calculated
Continental US orders ship via UPS Ground at a flat $15 per shipment, with free shipping over $500. Larger runs of 1,000+ units are quoted as freight (LTL) and may require a loading dock. Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, and APO/FPO addresses add ~$60 per carton. We ship internationally via DHL on a quote-by-quote basis.
Tracking
The moment your boxes leave the studio, a tracking number lands in your inbox. You can also check status anytime on the order page using the public link in your confirmation email. We photograph 10% of every run before it ships, and those photos are attached to the tracking email as a visual receipt.
Rush production
We can compress the standard window by roughly 7 days for a 15% expedite fee. The catch: artwork sign-off has to happen inside 48 hours. Ask early. Our calendar is tight, and rush slots open only when production runs are spaced.
Split shipments
Useful for distributed teams. We can pack and ship a single run to multiple addresses for $4 per address. Tell us at the brief stage and we will build the pack list together.
Carrier delays
Once a carrier accepts the boxes, we lose visibility beyond their tracking system. We will advocate on your behalf for any lost or delayed shipment, but in-transit delays caused by the carrier are not credited.
Receiving
Inspect your shipment within five business days. If anything looks off (short count, damage in transit, the wrong size pack), email studio@forgeandthread.test with photos and we will make it right.
