Forge & Thread LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and provides custom corporate apparel design and manufacturing services from our studio in Brooklyn, New York. This notice explains how we handle personal information collected through our site and our work with you.
02 / What we collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email, phone, company, shipping address, and any details you share in a brief or message. When you place an order we also store payment metadata returned by our payment processor (we never store full card numbers ourselves). We collect basic technical data automatically: IP address, browser, referrer, and pages visited, used to keep the site healthy and improve it.
03 / Why we collect it
To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, fulfill orders, ship goods, and stay in touch with you about your project. We use aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not profile, score, or sell visitor data. Full stop.
04 / Who we share with
A small set of vendors who help us operate: our payment processor (Stripe), our email delivery provider, our shipping carriers, and our hosting provider. Each is bound by contract to handle your data securely. We do not share for advertising purposes and we do not sell or rent personal data.
05 / Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in (when applicable), preserve your cart, and gather aggregate analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies by default. You can manage preferences any time via the cookie banner.
06 / Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email privacy@forgeandthread.test and we will verify your identity and respond within 30 days. We do not charge fees for reasonable requests.
07 / Retention
Order records: seven years, for tax and warranty purposes. Inquiries that do not become orders: two years, then deleted. Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then we keep only your email address on a suppression list so we do not accidentally email you again.
