01/The brief

Halverson came to us at the start of March: 240 drivers, a four-state operation, new brand identity rolling out at the Mid-Atlantic Trucking Expo on March 24th. Eleven business days.

02/How we did it

  1. Day 1–2: Studio session. We took the new brand guide and built three pattern directions.
  2. Day 3: Approval on direction two, a tiled wordmark + safety-icon system in ember/obsidian.
  3. Day 4–6: Sampling. Three polos, three q-zips, two hats shipped to Halverson HQ.
  4. Day 7: Production kickoff. We ran a dedicated line.
  5. Day 9: First 80 units boxed and on a truck.
  6. Day 10: Final 160 boxed.
  7. Day 11: All 240 received in Bethlehem PA by 10am.

03/What made it work

No fabric switching mid-run. Pattern locked at day 3. Halverson made decisions fast. We staffed the line. Eleven days is not our standard SLA, but when the relationship is right and the brand is locked, it's possible.
